ITAM Review Q. For those new to ACE – what is the typical profile of an ACE attendee?

ITAM Professionals attend our conference for education, networking and the possibility to see cutting-edge technology offerings for the IT Asset Management community. The majority of our attendees are either senior management or ITAM practitioners attempting to raise their ITAM knowledge to the next level by learning how others are solving similar problems in their own enterprises and with what products.

Q. It’s great to see so many end users as speakers at this year’s conference sharing their experiences with peers – why do end users present?

End users present for numerous reasons – The first is IAITAM has cultivated a knowledge share community over the last 10 years that celebrate the successes of each professional. The conference provides the end users the opportunity to not only share their knowledge but also gain knowledge through the questions and networking in their sessions.

Q. What can we expect this year and how many are you expecting?

The IAITAM 2011 Ace event is by far the largest and most extensive topic range for the ITAM profession in the world. With over 600 attendees, 60+ sessions, 90 top experts in the industry the knowledge that the attendees will walk away with will bring value to any organization.

 Q. Have you witnessed any significant trends in terms of member enquiries within the ITAM space?

The trends this year and the goal of the conference are to bring value back to the organizations. Financial savings in many forms seem to be the driving force for attendees. The attendees will be looking for new ideas and solutions to maximize return on investments.

Q. IAITAM have launched two new international offices this year – can we expect International conferences to follow?

Absolutely!
