Three Predictions for 2011

Three ‘finger-in-the-air’ predictions for 2011:

1. Demand for experienced ITAM professionals and specialist skills will push up salaries
2. Microsoft’s new SAM Gold competency will force Microsoft Large Account Resellers to partner and acquire SAM boutiques and specialist service providers. Microsoft says thou shalt walk the walk as well as talk the talk.
3. The relationship between ITSM and ITAM will continue to blossom. Both parties will realize that even though they work in different paradigms and serve different goals – ultimately the whole is greater than the sum of the parts and 2 + 2 = 64.
