Martin Thompson, Owner & Founder, The ITAM Review

Martin is owner and founder of The ITAM Review, an online resource and community for worldwide ITAM professionals.

Martin is an independent ITAM consultant for organizations seeking independent guidance on ITAM strategy or ITAM tool selection. Martin also reviews tools, technology and services in the ITAM market.

On a voluntary basis Martin is the Chief Agitator at the Campaign for Clear Licensing, a contributor to ISO WG21 which develops the SAM International Standard ISO/IEC 19770 and board member of Free ICT Europe which supports the ICT secondary market.

 


Rory Canvan, Owner & Founder, SAM Charter

Rory is owner & founder of SAM Charter. With a technical background in business and systems analysis, Rory has a wide range of first-hand experience advising numerous companies and organisations on the best practices and principles pertaining to software asset management. This experience has been gained in both military and civil organisations, including the Royal Navy, Compaq, HP, the Federation Against Software Theft (FAST) and several software vendors. Rory was recently appointed as the Director of Research & Development for ITAMOrg.


Kylie Fowler, Founder & Principal Consultant, ITAM Intelligence

Kylie is an experienced Software Asset/IT Asset Manager and independent Consultant with a track record of supporting companies to optimise their IT estate and reduce IT costs through the creation of best practice and compliant software asset management frameworks. She also coaches and mentors in-house ITAM teams to increase productivity, reduce risk, support and reinforce change and develop new skills and competencies, and has deep expertise in negotiating software licensing agreements with major vendors.

Kylie is passionate about the value of building collaborative relationships across organisations to secure buy-in for creative IT Asset Management solutions and set up her consultancy, ITAM Intelligence to use this deep subject matter expertise and experience to deliver a highly responsive, tailored and vendor agnostic service to small and medium size enterprises on a fixed fee and retainer basis. Kylie is the Convenor of the UK SAM Networking Group which holds regular SAM related professional development events and is a popular speaker at industry events and has published a number thought leading SAM articles.
