As organisations transition rapidly towards remote working, they are increasingly relying on Software-as-a-Service to provide their employees with the tools they need to do their job. Collaboration, file-sharing, and web conferencing tools might once have been a niche area with only the select few needing access to them. Now they’re as ubiquitous and as necessary as an email client. With many of these capabilities delivered as SaaS it becomes imperative to manage them with the same rigour applied to other technology assets.
In this session I’ll present a framework for doing this – the people, processes, and tools necessary for effective governance of this once emerging and now mainstream spend category. Come along to find out how to start a SaaS Management programme – even without any tools – and how to build momentum behind it to ensure that the rapid digital transformation of the last 4 months doesn’t store up problems for the future.
This session is held to help SAP SAM and Project managers, Compliance responsible, Administrators, and users to understand the typical audit requirements and issues related to SAP so that you can be better prepared for an onsite SAP audit.
We will share some insights of our project in ICL on how the SAP auditors approach was, what you also can request and what do you need to prepare. This to be able to review the specific SAP users, SAP Applications and their related business processes, as well as to explore the audit issues what might be related to your contractual entitlement. This might also empower you to change an Audit into an opportunity.
Discover how you can prepare your specific area for an SAP Audit. We are looking forward to you.
In this session we’ll be looking at the ways in which we, as women in ITAM, can support and build each other’s careers. We’ll discuss the value of building a professional network and why it can be challenging for women to ‘lean in’ and take a voice at the table. We’ll look at what we can do to nurture the careers of young women and how mentoring and supporting other women (and men!) in the workplace can help drive our own careers.
Building a SAM program and how SHI’s Managed Services help us reach our goals for a mature SAM program.
For years, SAM guidance has been treated apart from ITAM, and ITAM guidance apart from IT service management. Therefore, the implementations often suffered from blind spots and misalignments. Now, with ITIL ® 4, an all-in-one solution is available, covering all dimensions: information and technology, organizations and people, partners and suppliers, value streams and processes. Spend one hour with Stéphane JORET, the author of ITAM in ITIL 4, to discover this brand-new toolkit.
