An Independent View of The Worldwide SAM Tools Market

I am in the process of writing an updated version of the SAM Software Tools Review.

Last year the report was a deep dive competitive comparison of Express Metrix vs FrontRange Solutions vs Snow Software.

This year the scope of the review has expanded to include Enterprise SAM Tools and those tools which do not have their own inventory solution.

Product Classes

Technology will be grouped, scored and assessed in four classes:

  1. Inventory & SAM
  2. SAM only (no inventory)
  3. Enterprise SAM (SAM for larger environments)
  4. Best Overall Technology

The review criteria are grouped into six categories as detailed below:

The aim of the report is to showcase SAM technology and innovation so that worldwide SAM professionals can see the strengths and competitive differences between different vendors and make informed purchasing decisions.
