Wisdom US 2020: Our US ITAM conference returns

  • 29th & 30th September 2020
  • University of South Florida, University Student Center

The ITAM Review returns with our fourth annual US ITAM conference at the marvellous University of South Florida, St.Petersburg – with a focus on taking ITAM beyond IT.

Tuesday 29 September 2020

About this event

Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the global news regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we deemed it to be in the best interests of our staff, sponsors, speakers and delegates to postpone the Wisdom US event originally scheduled for 18th & 19th March 2020 and can confirm the new date of the conference is 29th & 30th September.

We appreciate that this is unwelcome news, but as the impact of the virus has increased we feel that this is the most sensible course of action at this time.

The ITAM Review returns with our fourth annual US ITAM conference on 18th & 19th March 2020 at the marvellous University of South Florida, St.Petersburg – with a focus on taking ITAM beyond IT.

Taking ITAM beyond IT

As our roles grow in seniority and technology changes, our scope increases. This conference will help equip you to grasp the opportunities to expand the reach of ITAM, offering advice on working with new and more senior stakeholders whilst also adjusting to the challenges of managing new asset types.

As well as our usual, excellent content around the various aspects of ITAM, we want to help prepare you, and your organisations, for the changes on the horizon.

Our expert speakers will be discussing topics including:

• Audit Defence & Licensing
• The ‘Big Four’ (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM & SAP)
• Microfocus & Quest
• Managing public cloud (IaaS) like Azure or AWS
• Choosing a cloud management tool
• Working with stakeholders across the business
• How Cyber Security and ITAM can work together
• How ITAM can better work with finance to address SaaS and IaaS risk
• Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• IT Asset Disposal (ITAD)
• Should ITAM look after systems patching
• Managing Open Source

Testimonials and reviews

Some previous conference delegate feedback:

‘This was by far the best event I’ve been to and I got so much out of going, more than I ever expected. I would recommend it to everyone in our industry. For me personally both my ITAM roles have been basically me left to my own devices to build ITAM functions from scratch so it was a great confidence boost to hear the experts talk about this and describe pretty much what I had done, sort of validating that I had done things the right way, and it was brilliant to meet a community of people who enjoy talking about ITAM and SAM as much as I do! Thanks again for putting on an amazing event’

‘For the second year in a row, great job on the conference. Content, delivery and networking opportunities were all valuable and I’m looking forward to the 2018 conference!’
